Discover Málaga: a real gem on the Costa del Sol.
First some practical advice:
The Airport - city center connection by train: excellent.
The train station is located right in front of the arrivals terminal. Just follow the sign: salida (exit) and the train symbol.
The ticket that can be purchased at the machines located before the entrance turnstiles costs 2.80 euros.
The journey takes about fifteen minutes and the frequency of the trains is about twenty minutes. From early morning until late evening.
City stops: Maria Zambrano - Alameda.

Have you ever dreamed of visiting a city where history, art, culture and natural beauty meet in a perfect mix; then it's time to discover Málaga, one of the most fascinating destinations in Spain, located in the heart of the Costa del Sol.
History and Architecture: a dive into the Moorish past and beyond.
Walking through the streets of Málaga, you will feel immersed in centuries of history. The majestic Alcazaba, an 11th-century Moorish fortress, is one of the best-preserved monuments in Muslim Spain. From here, you can also enjoy spectacular views of Málaga's port and city centre. Not far away, you will find the Roman Theatre, a testimony to the imperial era. And for a truly unique experience, visit Málaga Cathedral, known affectionately as "La Manquita" for its unfinished tower.

Art:
Málaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and it's no surprise that it's a perfect destination for art lovers. The Picasso Museum, located in a historic building in the city center, offers an extraordinary collection of his works. Don't miss the Pompidou Center Málaga, a modern and colorful version of the famous Parisian museum, and the Carmen Thyssen Museum, which houses a large collection of Andalusian works of art.

Gastronomic recommendations: I would like to recommend two places where I enjoyed myself very much.
In the center a historic and very valid place: El Pimpi. We had dinner at "La sole del Pimpi", excellent value for money. The best octopus and scampi paella.
In the muelle area one: "Cambara" excellent and recommended Duck Gyoza with Hoisin sauce of strawberries, cucumbers and chives.
